Technically, this is possible, either by editing the archives
generated from Mailman, or by editing the Mailman mailbox for the
list.

However, there is usually little point in doing this, as the Zope.org
archive is not the only archive for Zope.org mail. Generally, you'd
have to contact at least a dozen different list archivers to get
something like this removed, and many either are deaf to requests or
have a policy of maintaining a consistent record.

I think the Foundation should at some point adopt a policy regarding
the list archives (unless the lists are moved to Launchpad and
Launchpad has an acceptable policy in place). Python.org's policy is:

In order to protect the integrity of the list archives, we do
not routinely agree to remove or obscure posts that are in the
archives. We only do this in exceptional circumstances such as
if someone has posted personal/private information about
someone else, or an obviously private e-mail has accidentally
	been posted to the list.
