[Grok-dev] How to do authentication right with Grok

Hi there,

We are currently working on a small Grok app where the user has to login 
through a login form and will be authenticated against our LDAP
server. Login form + authentication (using ldappas+ldapadapter) is 
working fine.

In Zope 2 we identify an authenticated user through a cookie (__ac, 
cookie-based authentication). I am currently not getting the point where 
(and how) to do that within a Grok application. I have seen this

and there is likely related functionality within the Zope components.

Basically I am confused about what fits in here.
