This weekend I'll start reading the Google SoC requirements and checking
if what Philipp and I wrote last year is enough for this year,
regardless of who hands in the papers to Google.

With the mentor/student guidelines you said you are going to write as a
red book in our hands, we can campaign avoiding a lot of the zigzags
we went through in the 2007 edition.

As I said, I'm prepared to support the ZF gsoc project regardless of
what formalities the ZF BoD find appropriate.

By the way: as a teacher of Python, I find Baiju's idea of putting the
ZODB in the front as a flagship very good. I just don't like the name
because it doesn't express its easiness and comprehension. I my courses,
the ZODB would stick better if it had a tricky-pythonic name like
"PyPersistence" or "PickleEverything" or "PyPantry" or something like
that. (I' sending a copy of this to Lennart, who has been evangelising
for the ZODB in his blog).

Cheers,

Aroldo.
