[Interface-dev] 2.3 support?

There was mentions about Python 2.3 support at the sprint, but I don't
remember the conclusions. I can conclude, though, that it doesn't
work. At all. You get syntax errors from using from blah import (),
which evidently doesn't work in Python 2.3.

So, do we still need Python 2.3 support, or can we drop it?
