Tom, could you make an account for me so I can explore a bit ? 
Just looking right now.

I have some ideas for http://zdp.zope.org/ZopeStatus :

1. make this the default "zbook" page

2. inline the latest table of contents (what does ZCL stand for ?)  on
this page

3. move the draft links at the bottom into the table of contents.

4. move the ZQR link to another page, eg the front page or a general
status page

IMHO this would clarify the zbook's current outline & status. The
"OpenBook" mentioned in that (most relevant) free-software
documentation article is done this way. Comments welcome,
