Hi there, I'm jumping in after an absence here, so my opinion doesn't
way so much right now (i.e. I have less responsibility in the ZDP right
now :).

What also would be a good if the ZDP takes over these roles from Digital
Creations is active participation of one or more Digital Creations
people in the ZDP process (i.e. the mailing list). A person from DC that
is participating in the ZDP professionally can tide over the ZDP during
lean times when volunteers are busy elsewhere, and of course can keep
the lines of communication between ZDP and Digital Creations open.

[docbook]

Docbook sounds like a good flexible future-proof format. Easy access to
Docbook tools and documention on how to install/use them would be a
requirement, though. I've had some trouble when I was experimenting with
it.
