Zope doesnt *need* a -D switch to tell it the name of a dns server. It is=
=20
mostly only used for logging.  Logging occurs after* the request has=20
completed, so its not impossible that this could be the cause. try it=20
without?


Maybe you could post your complete ZEO and Zope startup command line?
