We chose initially to implement a subset of the DC, for a couple of reasons.
My initial proposal, with rationale for the subseting, is at:

Its semantics seemed hideously underspecified to me, so much so that I
couldn't imagine wanting to use it in a general-purpose CMS. Can you
indicate
how you intend to use it?

Hmm, that may be an oversight. We do offer alternate spellings of the date
fields (the original, unqualified 'Date' was essentially useless for our
purposes; its semantics are too fuzzy).

Again, if you can let us know how, that would help in thinking about
a reasonable implementation.

We have a proposal to implement 'Relation' and 'Source', because we have
a known need for such stuff:

   http://cmf.zope.org/rqmts/proposals/dublin_core_relation

I'm willing to extend it to include 'Coverage' if you can illuminate the
need a bit, and maybe constrain the problem.

Not without strong motivation (e.g., a consulting gig, or a *really*
compelling use case); "patches accepted", of course. :)
