[Zope-CMF] CMF 1.3 Flexible metadata patch preview release

Hi.

I'm proud to announce a preview release of the "Flexible metadata patch"
for CMF 1.3.

This patch introduces the ease of "ticking boxes" to the portal_metadata
tool. You can add new metadata elements automatically to the list of
constrainted items and have them appear in the edit-metadata form
automatically. Constraint types are there for 

    - Date validation
    - simple String validation
    - Text validation
    - Vocabulary constraints
    - "Null" constraint (to ignore the element for specific content
    types)

We also introduced a "proxy index" because storage of metadata is now
brought into it's own namespace out of the content object itself.

You can download the patch from

    http://www.gocept.com/opensource

and unpack it into your Products directory (where a CMF 1.3 release
lies) and apply the patches by doing 

    patch -p0 < *.patch

Please watch for the disclaimer on the homepage: Fresh installations
aren't expected to be hurt, but exisiting data is not guaranteed to live
on (although it did in my cases ...)

I would like to hear from you if this patch is useful or should be
dumped into the trash. (I know that there are some bugs and some ...
uglynesses, i'm very open to everything that handles the acquisition
wrapping better :) )
