[Zope-CMF] backup strategies

DirectoryStorage is slightly slower on read/writes than FileStorage, but
more scalable, and easier to manage backups and replication.  There are FAQs
for DirectoryStorage at http://dirstorage.sf.net

Also, Linux/ReiserFS affinity: You really want to run a DirectoryStorage
that is going to get bigger than 2-3 gb on ReiserFS, not ext3 or other
filesystems.  This is becuase reiserfs handles many small files well,
without fs metadata scaling problems.

How solid are File- and DirectoryStorage?  What are the tradeoffs in
their usage?
