[Zope-CMF] DCWorkflow innards. Why does the default state not honour automatic transitions??

Hi there,
when a DCWorkflow controlled object is created and thus set to its initia=
l=20
state no automatic transitions are honoured.

This prevents DCWorkflow from triggering an automatic transition when a=20
document is copied.
I would like to have a copied document automatically set to a workflow=20
controlled state which would be easy if DCWorkflow would not dismismiss=20
automatic transitions when a document is put to its initial state.

Is there a reason for this behaviour?

Is there a way to circumvent it?
