A bug report from the Matt Hamilton at the Plone conference.  He had a 
folder with several hundred documents;  the 'folder_contents' view was 
ridiculously expensive, and his profile showed that most of the time was 
spent in 'get_size'.

The implementation is particularly silly because the 'folder_contents' 
view rounds the numbers to human-readable approximations.
