I'm all for it, but...

The binary Linux releases (including today's 2.6.1b2) are STILL missing
their lib/python2.1/lib-dynload/pyexpat.so which means that you can't do
"from xml.parsers import expat" with them. The release build process
must be broken somewhere. This is bug http://collector.zope.org/Zope/678

In a recent project for CPS, I had to resort to use
Shared.DC.xml.pyexpat.pyexpat because no other parser was available
(many people are using binary distributions).
