Exactly, it's up to us to make this work. MS are deliberately trying to screw 
with the protocol because they _know_ that office support via WebDAV is 
important to a lot of people...

 From what I remember, Apache works fine with this. Could code be borrowed from 
there?

Of course, it's all part of the game. However, the behaviour won't have changed 
so muc hthat it breaks the MS Server apps behaviour. If we want WebDAV for 
editing from office, we need to get our support up to that level. Where we 
currently are isn't pretty...
