Go to Control_Panel/Database/main/manage_cacheParameters, bump the value for "Target number of objects in memory per cache" up and hit "Change". As the page reloads, the old value is still shown (default 400).

I've been trying to get at the problems comparing the source between 2.6 and 2.7 and using pdb. It seems that the ZODB.DB database instances actually saves the value, AltDatabaseManager (which inherits from CacheManager) however doesn't. I'm clueluess :(
