Bug 1380 is still present in current versions of Zope.

This screenshot was rendered with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050421 Firefox/1.0.3 (Debian package 1.0.3-2) and a bright on dark color scheme.

The solution is very simple as described here: http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/color

For me, deleting line 160 in manage_page_style.css.dtml was a quick fix. But i assume the style sheet has several other problems that will occur with other color schemes.

Please be lenient with me, I'm not experienced withe css nor in doing patches:)
