Log message for revision 27153:
  Make a copy of the passwdauth demo package, so that I can keep a tighter 
  control of the book's version. Also, I want to have all book code 
  together at one place. 
  
  I leave the main package in the core though, so that it is being updated 
  as the API changes.
  
  This way we can have the best of both worlds.
