[Zope-DB] Zope on Linux connecting to MS SQL Server

Free alternatives:

If you want do to SELECT queries, you can use ODBC-Socket server
(www.sf.net/projects/odbcsock) and the Zope XML-Kit product (see odbcsock
page).

If you want a bit more performance, and you can afford to put someone
working on it, take a look at the unfinished product
www.sf.net/projects/zdbtcpda (one day I'll keep on with it).

I have heard that dbtcp server is much more stable that odbc-socket
server. But ODBC-Socket server XML-Kit is finished.

None of them support transactions.

So for serious applications -> Use what you say, mx-ODBC, and a driver por
MS SQL Server ...
