[Zope-DB] ZpsycopgDA "broken"

Hello,
I spent a sizeable amount of time with colleagues trying to get
ZpsycopgDA to work with Zope on my SuSE 7.3 Linux installation.
I have my own compiled PostgreSQL 7.2, Python 2.2 and Zope 2.5.0 versions.
The psycopg installation seems to complete, doing the configure with all
absolute paths to the libs, the includes, etc, as well as the zope
directory.
I run make, make install, make install-zope and indeed get the ZpsycopDA
directory installed in the Products folder of Zope. But while going to
add the product from the Control panel, it shows a "broken" product.
A funny side info was that while the machine was running at normal time
(April 19, hh.mm) the ZpsycopgDA showed up about timestamped about one
week in the future...! (April 25).
When I brutally (horror !) changed system time to 26 and reinstalled as
precedingly, the time stamp was now correct, but product was still
"broken"...
I tended to suspect the mx stuff to be funny, but could not find any
peculiarity here...

Thanks for any help.
Robert
