[Zope-DB] Oracle 8i dco2.pyd

Hi Andreas,

You obviously know far more about this sort of thing than me.

I'm getting a ORA-06401:NETCMN:invalid driver designator error.

The Oracle 8i is on a Linux box, and I'm trying to set this up from a
windows box initially. I'm assuming that it is just the dco2.pyd driver that
is the problem. However, I can't try the 9 client on the windows box, as I
don't have access to the software.

Any other ideas, would be gratefully received.

Thanks for you help
Michael

I didn´t test it with an Oracle8 client. If you run Zope on a different
machine than the Oracle server, you can at least install the Oracle9
client to connect to an Oracle8 server.

maybe that is an option?
