[Zope-DB] mayday: zope does not start with ERROR ZODB.Connection Couldn't load state for 0x01 error

The object with oid "0x1" is the "Application" object.
The error message indicates that it still is referenced in
the root object but is no longer itself in the ZODB.

It is quite difficult to create such a situation.
Truncating the file drastically may produce such a result.
