here is a idea: News Collector on zope.org?
if people have news they submit it via collector.  each issue you just empty
the collector.  that way people can submit news you approve it.  if you do
this PLEASE PUT A LINK TO THE NEWS COLLECTOR on the frontpage or nearby.
