This is nice to hear. Since I'm new to the list and Zope, I hadn't heard
this before. Having a nice turnkey solution like this will be great. Add
in conferencing, a calendar, and some polling software and you've got a
really nice instant intranet/groupware tool.
I've been mucking with Zope on and off for a week, reading as much
documentation as I can, lurking on this list, and reading up on Python.
There seems to be a strong, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and helpful
community building around Zope. DC is pushing things in some positive
directions (the WebDAV support is going to be a killer feature IMHO) and
the open source thing looks to be the driving force here. At least, this
it the vibe I've been getting.
In other words, I'm sold. Count me in. I'm going to commit to learning
Zope and once I get up to speed I'll recommend it to my clients. One more
drop in the bucket.....
