Thanks Mike!  Apparently there is more to url() than just a call
to absolute_url().  Could I trouble you for the source of the creator()
external method and, if it happens to be more than just
"<dtml-return bobobase_modification_time>", the source to the
date() external method as well?

The idea of adding external methods at the top of a tree, in
order to add methods to pre-existing meta_types for enhanced
cataloging is a concept that never occurred to me... part of the
Zen of Zope, I guess.  I'd really suggest this concept be added
to the Zope documentation, or perhaps as a TIP or HOW-TO.

BTW, I've been collecting little tricks and tips from the mailing
lists and I'm about to apply them to the FlexFAQ zproduct and
create a public "How do I..." brief response guide.  All items
would be strictly kept to that phrasing and short.  I keep notes
from the questions/hurdles I encounter as I develop for Zope,
and realize that others may need them as well.  I was going
to put it on my own web page since the FlexFAQ product is
not installed on Zope.org, unless you'd like to give me a little
space/access rights to a /Members/FAQ/ folder? ;-)  Or you
can wait until I do it on my own site and inspect it/decide then.
