[Zope] Upgrading Observation/Question

Ok, thi sis _not_ a question on how-ro upgrade, after tracking all the
betas, i think I got that one down pat. ;^)

This is more of an observation and a question regarding it.

I am running my Zope Servers (100% ZServer Based) on Linux. For my
upgrade process, I back up my var directory, and copy the source tree
into my site directory (I run several ZServers on this machine). I then
execute "python wo_pcgi". Now, I have been stopping and starting Zope
after doing this. However, for some reason, before I did this, I clicked
on the Control Panel in the admin screens, and found it reporting the
new version!

I suspect it does not hurt anything, but i was wondering what the folks
at DC think. Is the restart of ZServer unneccessary?
