[Zope] SybaseDAv2 speed slow?

Hi,

My SybaseDAv2 connection seems awfully slow.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
A SQL request now takes about 0.3 seconds
to complete... this is especially strange
given that the Sybase database is on the
same machine as Zope. I am using Linux.

Is there any trick to speed up the database
connection? I suspect the slow speed is
due to poor tcp/ip connection... (despite
that it is within the same machine!)
