[Zope] Password Problems

Hi!

 I just tried to install zope on a Slackware 7 Intel PC. In detail I
 did the following steps:
 -- cd /usr/local
 -- tar -xzvf /tmp/Zope-2.1.6.linux2-x86.tgz
 -- cd Zope-2.1.6
 -- chmod 777 var
 -- ./install -u=root -g=root

 After that I could read the mainsite on port 8080.
 But when I tried to open the management screen I could not open it
 because the password did not match - but I AM shure, that I took the
 right one.

 Any Ideas why that happen? May be some wrong permissions?
