This was in the Documentation for Jabber - an Open Source INSTANT MESSAGING
PRODUCT based on XML.

They have written a component that extends the Python Platform in XML. Here
is a snip of the Description:

"Python: PyJabber is 100% pure Python, portable, (optionally) threaded,
compact, and trivial to integrate. It is fully functional and is ready for
more testers, users, and being used to bring Jabber and real-time XML
functionality to a variety of popular Python projects (mailman, zope,
etc)."
