Download ZShell from http://www.librelogiciel.com/software/
You can even try it online.
Then use its find and/or grep commands depending on your needs
(you can even combine the two)
e.g. :
find / --id "*cow*"
another one, very useful (IMNSHO) :
find / --id "*cow*" --exec "echo {} ; lsperms {}"
