[Zope] locked out by apache (I feel like a newbie AGAIN)

I fear the information you give is not sufficient to help you.
You use apache as a proxy, right?
Maybe take a look at the zope logs in order to find out if your request 
reaches zope or if it's just an apache misconfiguration .
