Well -- I guess I try to -- but maybe this is the time to bring up way
the list works ( or maybe the way it is used) -- I find the practice of
sending replies directly to the person who posted and copying to the
list counter-intuitive -- it is sometimes very difficult to follow the
thread, difficult for both parties to keep in the list.
When I get messages from an individual I tend to reply directly to
sender of record -- the same with the list. Is there a reason why the
list works this way( the reply does not go to the list unless forced) ?
I run a list, participate in dozens of others and find this strategy
confusing.
