It's not really a rationale, more of an "irrationale" ;)

As usual, I'm chasing a deadline on a live system which uses
1.4.1 .. I'll switch to the latest release as soon as I can,
but for now I'm on 1.4.1

I'm hoping that by the time I upgrade, Martijn has incorporated
my patch or something that suits him better.
