[Zope] PTS: How to set language

Hello!

I'm not sure if this the right list to ask questions about 
PlacelessTranslationService: Is there something similar to the 
accept_methods in the Localizer Product? I want to set the prefered 
language programmatically. I've seen PloneLanguageTool which seems to do 
  that, but I'm not on Plone.
