Let's stop this discussion; it is not going anywhere.

I am not changing the current setting. Whatever the default there will
always be people who want it set the other way. It is a personal preference,
and there is no scientifically provable optimum. (No, citing a statistic of
hom many lists you know that do A or B doesn't count).
