Have a look at Yale's CAS:

We're looking to achieve with
Zope and uPortal <http://mis105.mis.udel.edu/ja-sig/uportal/index.html>
(and indeed several other Web applications) what you want to achieve
Zope and Jetspeed using CAS in the middle.

It's early days though ....
