[Zope] upgrade python zope 2.6.0 ?

I have Zope 2.6.0 running under Python 2.1.3

If I want to upgrade to Python 2.2.2 will that break my Zope 
installation? Can I recompile Zope 2.6.0 with Python 2.2.2 or am I 
forced to use Python 2.1?
