You could try to convert your ".doc" file to html,
then publish it with zope. There is a nice utility
that does this:

http://wvware.sourceforge.net                   -> linux
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/wv.htm -> Windows

You may have to use an external method to do this.
