I don't know about the import problem, but you shouldn't need to export
import just to deal with a software upgrade to the OS.  Instead, shut
down the olde Zope, copy the Data.fs to the new $INSTANCE_HOME/var, and
start the new Zope.

If need be, you can use repozo to back up the old Zope without downing
it, then restore it into the new instance before starting the new Zope.
