So you are trying to use a zope.conf file which has a zserver
configuration in it, but use it to start a WSGI application?

I think what should work is to have no zserver config in the zope.conf
and then start it as a WSGI app. Probably it's a job for the buildout
recipes to offer such a "WSGI" option.
