Hi Dave. Thanks for introducing yourself!

I've done a bit of core Zope 3 development, but I've been mostly a
spectator for a while now, sending out the newsletters now and then.
Since only Jim responded, I thought I'd add my own answer: yes. :-)

Jim pointed you to his tutorials; Philipp's Zope2-for-Zope3 version of
the first chapter, linked on the same page, is a nice highlight for me
as to the changes and huge improvements of Zope 3 in comparison to Zope 2.

I can understand your frustration with the refactorings--some time very
soon we'll need to get off the bus and declare that we have arrived.
And yes, it would be nice if *all* of the documentation kept up, and the
wiki pruned, and (a dig at myself) the newsletter delivered in a regular
and timely manner. But in an imperfect world, I'm pretty impressed,
myself, with the refactorings, the software, and the documentation. And
if you hang around, I think you will be too.

Of course, I've been wrong before. ;-)

So, to sum up: please hang on! It's worth it.

Gary
