Cool :-)  I like the ease of configuring many storages to pack.

It looks like it will suffer the same symptoms reported here, though:
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/zope2/+bug/143357

In particular, looping forever when faced with an unreachable server
(since this happens in  ZEO/zrpc/connection.py).
