[ZPT] img replace url

I'm banging my head against the wall here...

I am making some templates that are served up via an apache proxy pass and 
I have a SiteRoot object in Zope to set the Base path.  So when I do this:

<img tal:replace="structure here/images/someimage" />

It will render to this:

<img src="http://www.somesite.com/images/someimage" />

but I am actually getting this:

<img src="/Base/images/someimage" />

Is there anyway to get it to put the full absolute URL that is computed 
against the SiteRoot?

I have seen this work on another of my server, but I can't for the life of 
me recreate it now 2 months later.
