[ZPT] Get output of ZPT with Script Python

Hi.  I am wondering if there is a way to get the output of a ZPT using 
a Script Python without having to use urllib?  I just want to do 
something else with the output of a ZPT but need to get it into a 
variable first.  Any suggestions?
