Hi Fredrik, try the python-interpreter interactively to get an imagination of python (simply start the binary) if "startdatum" is really a string, part of the string is startdatum[:4] (chars 0..3) startdatum[5:2] however will give you nothing. startdatum[5:-2] will give you between the 5th and -2 from the end... What function do i use to extract a part of a string. Been looking around a python.org finding everything except the function I want.
