[Zope-DB] Can I make ADO connections from within Zope?

I'm wondering if there's any way for me to access external datasources using
ADO.  Is there any OLE-DB provider for Zope?  Or any in the works?  If not,
is there some way around that?

I read that someone had developed an extension that converts the results of
an SQL Method into an ADO recordset.  Is that available or does anyone here
have the information on how to do that?
