I am trying to follow along with the zcatalog tutorial, but when I get to the instructions where you can make your zope object results links to the actual object the following instructions are used: In the source of report, find the following line:: <tr></tr> Replace it with this: <tr> <a href="">  </a> </tr> In making this change however, my search results gets broken with the following error: Error Type: NameError Error Value: catalog Any ideas why? Has the syntax changed? My exact replacement is: <a href="">  </a>

Zope + DocBook HTML

Hi everyone, I've been doing some work with DocBook lately, and I'd like to convert my work to HTML using the DSSSL stylesheet and put it online. Has anyone done that? OK -- I updated to the latest CVS version, ran Zope in DEBUG mode and ... 1) ZPyGres now works as expected. 2) PopY produces an error message : PQgetlength: ERROR! tuple number 0 is out of range 0..-1 If I don't run in debug mode then Zope just silently restarts with PoPy .... So - something changed in Zope (witness maybe checkin of SQL error handling?) which made PZyGres work again and PoPy has a problem with zero row results (some unguarded call to PQgetlength in PoPymodule.c it seems). Thanks to all who replied to my earlier query and convinced me that it worked for them ...... Probelm solved for now (even if I don't know what was fixed in the latest Zope checkin!). No, But I do have Apache with ProxyPass and SSL running just great, I'm actually running RedHat's SecureSite Server but I've heard it runs very well in conjunction with the Open SSL Modules. cant see ZmySQLDA-2.0.0

Hi, I upgraded from ZMySQL-1.1.3-nonbin.tar.gz (worked) to ZMySQLDA-2.0.0a1.tar.gz with MySQLdb-0.2.1.tar.gz. There is no ZMySQLDA.patch any more, right? But after I installed MySQLdb-0.2.1, expanded ZMySQLDA-2.0.0 and restartet Zope all my Database-Connection are broken and in the Available Objects I dont even see a ZMySQL DataBase connection ... What's wrong - did I forget something ??? Thanks Mario

My company, E.J. Krause & Associates, Inc., is looking for a company with expertise in Zope, Python and PostreSQL to help us maintain an Online Database Project. We currently have our site, The Sports Business Directory Online, up and running at http://directory.sportsummit.com. This site is a subscription based online search engine of our sports business directory database. Subscribers can login to the site and use our search engine to find companies in our online database, which we update and upload to the site daily in .dbf file formats. There is also a sample database at the site so that you can see examples of how the search engine operates without subscribing. We also sell subscriptions to our database in a simple SSL online store where a purchaser enters some credit card information into our order form, a secure email is sent to my inbox, we process the card internally in our accounting department, and then reply with a login and password the next business day. We are looking to move this part of the site towards a real-time e-commerce store using CyberCash technology. Our current needs for this project begin with finding a company who begin the relationship by hosting the site and keeping it up and running in its current state. After the site is stabilized, we would be ready to start making minor fixes to the current data functionality, and then would like to move into creating a real-time e-commerce structure and improving the site's overall look and feel.
