Dynamic script loading

Hello, I don't know if my question is more zopish or pythonish. I have a Zope product. I had to add the specific functionality which is needed very rarely. I would be glad to import external module only when it is needed, do the job and free my mind and extra memory it consumed. How should I do that? I have to admit that I don't find myself as an experienced Python programmer. I just discover depths of this incredible language while extending my Zope product. Help with VHM and Apache

I've been trying to get Zope setup with Apache. I continually read that I need to add a VirtualHostMonster in order to accomplish my objective. However, I cannot find where to download this object, and the how-to seem to indicate that this file is included with Zope. Could anyone shed some light on this? Ape 0.7 - prob. installing

I'm no doubt missing something silly, but Ape 0.6 worked and now 0.7 is giving me troubles. Here's the specifics: Zope 2.6.2b4 on RH Linux 9. I have Ape 0.7 and DBTab 1.2 installed. and actually, Zope starts up fine if I remove the DBTab.conf and custom_zodb.py files from my instance root. I am wondering how others have solved this problem. Are people using cookies between the 2 sites (I would like to avoid this) or are people writing this info to a database? Any help would be much appreciated. md5sums of modules

Hi, I just tried to download several modules for zope. After download I tried to compare their md5sums to those given on the website where I got the modules, but most of them were incorrect. Actually all of them were not the way they are supposed to be as I understand md5sums. According to what I read about md5sums, they are supposed to be 128 keys, but all of the keys I found for the module had a leading zero. OK, after removing this leading zero, some of the modules would verify OK, but again most were still wrong, missing some zeros somewhere. Sometimes 0 zero was missing and sometimes it was up to three zeros missing in the key. Other than that, the keys were identical to the ones I generate here with md5sum. Has anybody else noticed this problem? Below I have given the packages I downloaded, the top one is the key generated on my maschine, the one below is the one from the website. Can anybody tell me,why those zeros are missing in some of the keys and why they all do have a leading zero? Temporary Folder Content - Session Data

Sometimes I feel really bad writing to the list for help. It's when I have very simple, very basic questions. I'm sure that the answer is somewhere, but I've not been able to find it. I'm having a thought that each of my Zope projects that uses sessions should use individual session containers. I had some problems when one of our student developers and I both shared the same variable names. Quite hilarious. However, it seems to be conventional wisdom to store session data containers in temporary folders, as the default session data container is. This of course goes away on a restart. Is there anyway to get them to stick, as the default session data container does? Thanks a ton Edward

External Editor stopped working for me

I love the External Editor product - it's worked flawlessly on a Win98 system. I just moved to a Win/XP system. External Editor worked for about a week, but now for some reason always fails with: FATAL ERROR: {Errno 1] No such file or directory: C:\\Documents and Settings\\Roger\\Local Settings\\Temporary Internet Files\\Content.IE5\\mumble\object[1].zope I'm wondering why this worked for awhile, and now stopped. And for some reason, my actual directory structure now includes ...\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 Not sure how the extra Temp got in there, or how to circumvent it. Thanks for any advice.
