Form-Through-Script

Hi; I have a form that I need to send to a script and then send off to a URL (PayPal). I need to process it through the script to renumber things for PP. How do I do this? I imagine I add an element to the PT like so: <form action="renumberTheCart(here/CheckOutAfterEditStuff)" method="post"> but I need to pass a parameter "doc", which, of course, is the document I'm submitting. So I tried this: <form action="renumberTheCart(here/CheckOutAfterEditStuff)" method="post"> <p metal:use-macro="here/CheckOutAfterEditStuff/macros/main" /> which renders my page fine, but throws an error when I submit the form: Cannot locate object at: http://example.com/s/c/x/j/en-us/s/renumberTheCart%28here What do I do? Also, where do I return the document? Can I re.sub the "form action" in my script to send it to a new place? Does it just refresh the original doc? debugging memory exhaustion

Hi All, I'm suffering with an app server that keeps blowing through all its memory. I have a suspicion this is due to a dodgy python script or page template pulling too many objects into memory. However, by the time I know to look, the app server throws MemoryErrors for each and every request. What're the best ways to go about debugging this? Would DeadlockDebugger help or will it suffer from the same problem? Of course, it'd be lovely if you could actually specify an upper memory bound for a particular request to use, and/or Zope as a whole, but these kinds of things always seem to stall at the development stage :-( cheers, Chris -- Simplistix - Content Management, Zope & Python Consulting - http://www.simplistix.co.uk

In other words, have the condition render if checkbox_1 does not exist. How do I do that? _p_resolveConflict not called on conflict

Export fails

Hi list, I have Zope installed using the following config: Zope 2.9.4-final, python 2.4.3, sunos5 I´d like to export an object which has several children. Using the web management console, I navigate to the root folder and checked the checkbox for the object to export. After that, I clicked the export/import button. The object ID showed up correctly, so I clicked the export button, wanting to leave the export file on the server. The export seemed to work. At least, I found a file on my server. Unfortunately, the only content of the file was one line: ZEXPÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ The file itself is only 20k of size. Is there something I missed? Is there probably a command line tool to do exports? SOAP - Integration?

Hi, i have post this on zope3-users, too but with nearly no results. :-(( i experiment with SOAP support for Zope3. I ´ve found the package http://svn.zope.org/soap/trunk/. After testing and exploring this package a got some questions about it. General Questions: - I see no changes since 1 year. Does someone use this package? - Are there any other SOAP-Zope integrations available? Technical Questions: - Is it possible to let this package work like the xml-rpc stuff. (every method is accessable through http,xml-rpc,soap?) - How can i provide a wsdl file for my SOAPView? - Is it possible to let soap or zsi generate the wsdl file or should i write it "by hand"? - Does the package http://svn.zope.org/soap/trunk/ work with Five in a Zope2 environment, too? When not is it possible to integrate it in Five? Thx Christian
