SQL Method running twice

I am running into a brand new issue today that I can't, for the life of me, figure out. I wrote a standard page to insert data into a MySQL table using Z SQL methods from a form like I always have but for some strange reason it's running the same query twice, thus adding a duplicate entry. I have confined the original code in it's own document, checked, double checked, and still no avail. Any assistance is appreciated

question about copyng btree elements

Hi! I've a Zope BTree called answers. It contains PersistentMapping objects: self.answers[userid] = PersistentMapping(value=value, comments=comments) value can be a string, a list or a dictionary what happen exactly if I do: question.answers[a_userdid] = question.answers[another_user_id] ? From my (poor) tests they seems not to share anything, I mean I can modify question.answers[a_userdid] and question.answers[another_user_id] is untouched. Is this true? Should I beware of something?

Connecting New Zope to old ZEO server

As part of a migration plan we would like to have a Zope client running Zope 2.11.4 connect to a ZEO server running Zope 2.9.6 ZODB 3.6.2 When trying to connect we get an error the following error: 2009-12-10T10:09:48 INFO ZEO.ClientStorage (6145) Testing connection <ManagedClientConnection ('192.168.1.51', 17900)> ------ 2009-12-10T10:09:48 ERROR ZEO.zrpc.Connection(C) (192.168.1.51:17900) bad handshake 'Z303' Is it possible to have a new Zope connect to an old ZODB? Zope 2.12.2 & IContentType

Hello I'm trying to make a very simple package in Zope 2.12.2 and i'm trying to configure a content type with: <interface interface=".interfaces.IRecipe" type="zope.app.content.interfaces.IContentType" /> and i'm getting: ConfigurationError: ('Invalid value for', 'package', "ImportError: Couldn't import zope.app.content, No module named content") I tried including "zope.app.content" and i'm getting 'ImportError: Module zope.app has no global content' error. Reading zope.app.folder's code I saw it includes "zope.site", so i tried with it and it doesn't work neither because it gives ConfigurationError: ('Invalid directive', u'factory'). I used to do stuff like this with zope 2.9 without problems and also tried with philipp's book samples getting same results, wich is the code i pasted here btw, then i guess it could be smt deprecated in Zope 2.12. I believe I should be able to solve this going deeper with zcml machinery, smt i've to do someday anyway :), but if you're familiar with the problem or can give me any hint, it will be very appreciated. zwiki with plone.

Hi there, We are using plone 2.9 with zwiki 0.60. We used a Data.fs from old zope. Since we upgraded our zope/plone/zwiki we are unable to use/add zwiki in our new zope/plone. Zope FTP - OverflowError: requested number of bytes is more than a Python string can hold

Hi all, I am are using ZServer/Medusa for FTP-Uploads to our ZODB. This works for smaller files, but the above error appears in instance.log, when using a ~5 GB file. There's probably nothing I can do about it, as it's an internal python marshalling limit. Or would there be a way to make uploading big files work? ZopeProfiler uninstall

We have ZopeProfiler 1.72 installed on a site (Zope 2.7.5-1.fc3) that don't need it anymore. I've removed the folder and deleted the product, but I cant' find a way to remove it form the controlpanel. I notice it's been asked once before, but I cant find any replies. Any hints?
