Why do you want to recode into DTML? I think that is piece of good code and much faster than DTML. Overriding DateTime

Hi, I would like to override the DateTime.DateTime class within my functional tests. I have tried mocking (via mocker) and injecting the subclassed DateTime class into sys.modules (results in a TraversalError). The fartherest I've gotten is to set DateTime.DateTime = MySubclassedDateTime in my tests.py, which does work for the code 'within' the package(s) I'm testing but all the Zope core code (i.e. the instance created within PloneTestCase) is still referencing the global DateTime module. Has anyone successfully done this? Thanks in advance, Tim

Migrated from Zope 2.7.8 to 2.10; how to fix "Unauthorized: You are not allowed to access 'standard_html_header' in this context" error?

Hi. SiteRoot Issues

Hi, I've created a SiteRoot to point to a subfolder of the root folder /subfolder. Now I can't get back to the root folder / or remove the SiteRoot entry. How do I get back to the / root folder or go back and edit/remove the SiteRoot entry that I've just did. I checked the "Undo" tab by my SiteRoot entry wasn't there. Thanks for any suggestions.

help with running a dtml method

Hi I have a site with the following folder structure in zope: Dvir WebSite contentPages I have and index_html in the WebSite folder, in it I call a dtml method that's in the contentPages folder named overview_html, in the same folder (content Pages) I have another dtml_method named time_combo. In the overview_html I try to call the time combo method - I tried: <dtml-var time_combo> But it keeps saying it has an error : Error Type: NameError Error Value: name 'time_combo' is not defined I tried putting the full path like this: <dtml-var expr="Dvir <http://10.101.1.106:8080/Dvir/manage_workspace> .WebSite <http://10.101.1.106:8080/Dvir/WebSite/manage_workspace> .contentPages <http://10.101.1.106:8080/Dvir/WebSite/contentPages/manage_workspace> .time_combo()"> But it still won't work. Any idea what I did wrong? And what do I need to do to be able to call it?

Importing .zexp files

Hi, I’ve just downloaded the ZMultiTab_0_2.zexp from http://www.zope.org/Members/dgeorgieff/zMultiTab and put it in the import folder. I can see it from the import drop down list but can’t import it. Zope says “The object ZMultiTab does not support his operation”. At first I thought it was a file permission but that wasn’t it as I could import other .zexp files from the import folder with the same permission; I’m on a linux box. Any suggestions of what might be happening here? Thanks.
